Though new to the market, Cynthia Johnson has already become a favourite for her baked goods, especially the very popular cinnamon rolls! Karen Fowler joins us weekly from Fenwick, Nova Scotia where she creates a wide variety of products. From her Facebook page “KBC essentials natural oils in aloe are home made products designed to help with chronic pain. I also have a line of natural beauty cream for face and body.” We are very happy to have Karen join the Sackville Farmers Market.
Naomi and Silas Smith, with the help of their parents Peter and Laurie, are currently the youngest vendors we have at market. Selling preserves, fresh eggs from their own chickens, bread and even homemade fruit leathers, we’re glad to welcome the Smiths!
Jesse Hardy operates Hardy’s Produce, selling homegrown potatoes, beans, and tomatoes, as well as retailed produce from farms across Atlantic Canada. Check out his ever-rotating offering of fresh regional fruits and vegetables at the market, or visit him at his shop in Middle Sackville.

With unique designs and species specific houses and nest boxes, Hugh Urquhart’s unique woodwork is a site to behold! Fashioned from new and repurposed wood at his workshop in Port Elgin, these beautiful pieces are not only functional, but works of art that you can customize yourself. Other woodworking items, such as toys and tools made by Hugh are also available!
Selling primarily eggs from their own hens in Middle Sackville, Joan and Ralph have been a welcome addition to the Sackville Farmers Market. They also have homemade relish and hand made wash cloths for sale.
The Batter Boys started in 2016 at the Bill Johnstone Memorial Park. Hector, age 13, and Ethan, age 14, are originally from from England and moved to Amherst in 2010. The Batter Boys make crêpes, both sweet and savoury, in the European style, all prepared fresh in front of the customer. They are among the youngest vendors at the market.
